As a cultural bridge between Africa and North America, she utilizes this show as a means to connect the two worlds she lives in. She considers herself a passioned mental health advocate hence, this podcast show is dedicated to inspiring people to discover and embrace their authentic selves. In this episode Mpho shares her sentiments on celebrating and or spotlighting themed months such as International Women's Month. During her reflection she questions whether:
- Black people’s stories and businesses only deserve a spotlight in the shortest month of the year.
- Black excellence only happens in February
- We should feel unwanted or lonely whenever our loved ones cannot or choose not to do something special on Valentine’s Day
