Milk & Memoirs is a storytelling space where the everyday moments of parenthood are preserved like keepsakes. Through heartfelt conversations with mothers, mothers-to-be, and parents navigating the early years, we explore pregnancy, postpartum, and the tender chaos of raising little ones.
Alongside these intimate interviews, host Mpho journals her own motherhood journey in candid solo episodes—an offering of honesty, reflection, and growth. Once a month, the mic is passed to her four-year-old daughter, whose playful perspectives remind us of the wonder in childhood and the beauty of seeing the world through little eyes.
Each episode is more than a conversation—it’s a time capsule. A gift for the next generation to one day hear the stories, struggles, and joys of what it meant to be their parent in a particular moment of time.
Authentic. Thought-provoking. Tender. Milk & Memoirs is where the voices of motherhood are remembered and celebrated.

This episode's featured guest is Lunga Ndlovu - a father of three children, co-founder of the non-profit organization Ride Abuse and the director of Brave Works Concepts. Lunga has cycled over 4400KMs in South Africa and across several African countries with the purpose of raising funds for gender-based violence awareness. Our conversation with Lunga is a Road to Redemption that details:
- Ride Abuse; an organization Lunga co-founded with the mission to provide guidance and resources for victims and perpetrators once they step out of an abusive environment.
- His struggle with depression, navigating life with an absent father, experience with drug abuse (overdosing) and a suicide attempt.
- Navigating the stigmas and shame men experience when they share their stories of being victims of abuse.
